Are single beds suitable for adults?

Single beds are often mistaken as just for kids or teens, but they're actually made for adults too. A single bed, also known as a twin bed, measures 6 feet and 3 inches (190cm x 90cm) and is suitable for anyone and any space. Some folks like the snug fit, freeing up more room for work or leisure. Don't dismiss a single bed just because you're grown up. Keep in mind, a single bed can comfortably accommodate one adult only. If you have room, you may prefer a small double bed. Opting for a bed with storage can maximize your floor space by eliminating the need for additional furniture.

What is the size of a single bed frame?

A single bed frame is 6 foot 3 inches long (190cm) and 3 foot wide (90cm). Single bed frames are ideal for maximising small spaces and are often used in bedrooms used by guests or children but can be used by adults. Single bed frames are sometimes referred to as twin beds where two singles will be placed within the same bedroom.
